The work of UAB ALG Logistika started in 2003, when in the group of  „ Alma littera“ companies  the branch of logistics belonging to the company „ Šviesa“ was established. The branch of logistics started providing services of provision control and logistics to the inner companies  of the group .

After four years the branch of logistics expanded  the field of service – it started serving  B2B and B2C and moved to the centre of logistics in free Lithuanian zone in Kaunas.

In 2009 the activity of this association  was optimized.  In order to reduce costs, to increase the flexibility of transport service as well as the quality of the delivery of goods, the company has rejected its own transport and started cooperating with courier service providing companies.

In 2012 the branch of logistics of the company „Šviesa“ started  working as an independent association – UAB ALG Logistika  was established. The company starts providing combined services of inventory and tranasport logistics (3PL) not only for the companies belonging to „Alma Littera‘s“ group but also to outside customers. The business management system (SAP) is established in the company.
